Who we are
IndustriousAF is a nonprofit working on the workforce, institutions, and alliances of American industrial renewal. This site is operated at industriousaf.org. Contact: hello@industriousaf.org.
What we collect
The site collects three kinds of information.
Aggregated analytics. We use Plausible Analytics to count visits and understand which pages get read. Plausible does not use cookies, does not track individual users across sessions, and does not collect personal information. It records the page visited, referring domain, country, browser, and device type, in aggregate. Plausible's data policy applies.
Newsletter subscriptions. If you subscribe to our newsletter, we collect the email address you provide. Subscriptions are managed by Beehiiv, which stores your email address, tracks whether emails are opened, and records which links you click within emails. Beehiiv's privacy policy applies to that data. We use this information only to send you the newsletter and to understand which essays readers engage with. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email.
Direct correspondence. If you email us, we keep the email and any information you include in it. We use that information only to respond to you.
What we don't collect
We do not place tracking cookies, run third-party advertising trackers, sell or share email addresses, profile readers, or use the information we collect for any purpose beyond the ones described above.
How long we keep it
Newsletter subscriptions remain active until you unsubscribe. Email correspondence is retained for as long as it remains operationally useful. Aggregate analytics data is retained by Plausible per their retention policy.
Your rights
You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time using the link in any email. You can request that we delete your email address and any correspondence by writing to hello@industriousaf.org. If you are a resident of California, the European Union, or another jurisdiction with applicable data protection laws, additional rights may apply; contact us for specifics.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
Changes
If this policy changes materially, we will note the change at the bottom of this page and update the date below.
